Hired is committed to overcoming barriers to employment success for families through the Abundance Fund.
Every dollar directly supports the families we work with to stabilize and reach employment goals by providing essential needs such as:
Rent assistance to keep families stably housed.
Utility payments to keep lights, heat and water running.
Warm clothing to keep their children safe through the winter months.
Food, household items, transportation and other essentials.
$50 covers a monthly cell phone bill needed for the job searching process.
$75 buys a store gift card to feed a family for a week.
$100 supplies winter coats for two kids.
$250 provides support for a participant to pay for car repairs.
$500 completes a security deposit for a participant and their kids to move into safe housing.

Hired doesn’t just help connect people to the right job. They help sustain families. Every dollar contributed to the Abundance Fund will provide families with living stability resources to engage in family-sustaining employment and training.
Many participants requesting support from the Abundance Fund are facing health and other systemic barriers to accessing resources and tools. Last year, the most requested needs were food, household cleaning supplies, housing/utility support, and transportation help. We aim to support participant’s requested needs so that they can receive the resources necessary to stabilize and make progress on their employment.
Please make a donation today through November 21 (Give to the Max Day). If you learned about this opportunity through a Hired staff or board member, check out this link to support our families. Together, we can support more families towards employment success.
