TRAINING & CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDES:

  • Introduction and role of a Certified Nursing Assistant

  • Northstar Digital Literacy certificates

  • Healthcare customer service and terminology

  • CNA coursework

  • CNA State Exam for certification

  • Connections to healthcare employer partners

Benefits:

  • This is paid training, earn stipends up to $800 as you learn and start employment!

  • Average starting wage: $18-22/hour

  • Support including interview clothing, fuel, or bus cards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current resident of Hennepin County

  • 18+ years of age

  • Low income household eligibility

  • Subject to criminal background check

  • Lift/move up to 50 pounds

  • Solid reading and communication skills

 
 

Training Location:

In-Person

Northwest Family Services Center in Brooklyn Center (3 weeks)

Minneapolis College (5 weeks)

Training Length:

Tuesday – Friday from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm

(Two clinical days run 9:00 am – 5:30 pm)
