Hired Joins One Ten Network Supporting Black Talent

Hired is excited to be named as an endorsed talent developer with the OneTen Network.

The OneTen Network is a coalition of corporations, talent developers, and community partners committed to upskill, hire and advance one million Black individuals in America over the next 10 years into family-sustaining jobs with opportunities for advancement.

More than 50 corporations have joined the initiative, including local Twin Cities businesses Bank of America, Cargill, Delta, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Target, Trane Technologies, and Wells Fargo.

“For more than 50 years we’ve supported individuals and families in moving towards more stable and promising futures with skills training, individual employment counseling and support services. With the OneTen corporate partners here in the Twin Cities, we can provide more opportunities to reduce the disparities embedded in the Twin Cities community,” said Julie Brekke, Hired’s Executive Director. “We’re honored to be part of this initiative as a talent developer and a larger movement towards an equitable economy where all can prosper.”

Working with OneTen, Hired will create more equitable access to job opportunities and career advancement for program participants. By removing structural barriers that have disproportionately hindered Black talent from joining the middle class, we will also help lift all talent and drive better business outcomes that benefit all employees.
